Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, often called Ashanti was born on 13 October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti started her career when she was a teenager then was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. Ashanti was featured in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that same year. Both Fat Joe's What's Luv? The first ever female to make it into the Billboard Hot 100's highest two spots across the United States, with Foolish first and What's Luv? in second position. Here, we will celebrate with you her special birthday. Ashanti Douglas or Ashanti as she's more popularly known, was born in Glen Cove New York in the year 1980. Tina Douglas was her mother as well as Ken Kaide Thomas Douglas previously had a voice. She is the oldest and Kenashia Shia Douglas is her older sister. Douglas has named her Ashanti to honor Ghana's Ashanti Empire which was a place where women held power and had power and influence. Douglas wanted Ashanti to be a part of this model. The debut single Foolish includes a snippet of DeBarge's 1983 song Stay with Me. Ashanti has released her debut self-titled album in 2002, through Irv Goti's Murder Inc. label. The Declaration the fourth studio album, was released on June 3 2008. Hey Baby (After The Club) hit radios and digital platforms on 16 October. She has acted in the films Christmas in the City as in Army Wives. Aitch was seen wearing in her Rock wit U sample in Baby on the 10th of March, 2022.
